The city was entirely built of orange-pink limestone. Jerash's peak dates from the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Jerash is the very example of Roman municipal planning in the Middle East. After lunch, continue to the former Ottoman capital "As Salt", recently inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After breakfast, meet with your driver to head to the Dead Sea, but before that, you will take a tour of the city of Amman with the following itinerary: visit to the Amman Citadel, the archaeological museum, the Temple of Hercules, the Omayyad Palace, the Roman theater and the old city. Then head to the city of mosaics "Madaba", where you will visit the Church of St. George in Madaba, where you will see the oldest known map of the Holy Land. This mosaic from the middle of the 6th century, barely altered, traces the geography of Byzantine Palestine. After this first visit, head to Mt. Nebo, 10 km northwest of Madaba, the burial place of Moses, which offers a spectacular view of the Holy Land. In the afternoon, you will go to your hotel on the Dead Sea for a unique experience in the world's lowest point. Kerak, Château D'al Karak, Dana.
After breakfast and perhaps one last swim in the Dead Sea, head to southern Jordan. Your first stop will be in Kerak, the unofficial capital of southern Jordan, which is still mostly within the walls of the Crusader era on top of a hill and has one of the best-preserved Crusader castles in the Middle East. About 125 km south of Amman, halfway between the capital and Petra, it is also a natural stopover point on a trip between the north and south. Then continue to the Dana Nature Reserve where you will go on a hike in the village of Dana, whose occupation dates back to over 4000 BC. This trail snakes through the village, through terraced gardens and local craft workshops. You can meet the local residents, see the original Ottoman architecture, and learn more about the rich history of Dana. To date, a total of 700 plant species, 190 bird species, 37 mammal species, and 36 reptile species have been recorded in the reserve. After Dana, head to Little Petra for a sneak peek of what's to come tomorrow. Lunch and dinner at leisure Overnight in Petra
Wadi Musa.

Once in Petra, you will notice that there are very few standalone buildings, as the Nabateans preferred to carve their homes into the pink sandstone cliffs. The tour then takes you to the Khazneh, one of Petra's most elaborate temples. You will discover how the Nabateans carved their land into rock walls. Lunch and dinner at leisure Overnight in Petra
Wadi Rum Village, Zone Protégée De Wadi Rum.

You will go on a 4-hour 4x4 tour of Wadi Rum with a lunch in the desert. You will explore the beautiful desert and mountainous landscapes of Wadi Rum.
